Spring Ball Practice Starting Monday, April 22, 2024 
Spring football practice starts on Monday, 4/22.  Only current high school players (grades 9-11) will participate in spring football practices. 

Middle school kids will be doing football skills and drills without pads on their campuses as the school year closes.

2024 Fall Football Workout Gear

Ordering your child's workout gear for next fall ***  Parents of current 8th - 11th graders.

If your child is playing high school football next fall, there is required practice gear that is mandatory for all players.  

We're opening the online portal for parents to order starting today and closing at the end of May.  

These items will arrive at the school over the summer, and we will place them in your child's football locker for the 1st day of fall practice in August.  

In addition to the required gear (2 workout shirts and 1 pair of shorts), I have included cleats, gloves, and padded compression shorts as optional purchases. 

All of the items on the portal have been reduced in price by 40% as part of our agreement with Game One and Under Armour.  

Reminder - Varsity players must wear Under Armour cleats during games.  Freshmen and JV players do not have cleat requirements, although the price you'll get on this sale is tough to beat!

Here are a few more dates to be mindful of. 

April 22nd - Monday - First day of spring football practices (grades 9-11 only) - Practice schedule for spring ball will go out in a couple of weeks. 

May 16th - THURSDAY - Spring Jamboree (Spring Football Game and Fundraiser) - Cavalier Stadium

May 18 - Lake Travis 7on7 State Qualifying Tournament - (Varsity only - team will be selected later in spring - Max of 20 players)

June 3rd - July 18 - Cavs Conditioning Course (summer strength and conditioning)

August 5th - First day of football practice for incoming freshmen (current 8th grade players) Freshmen start a week earlier than the older kids due to them not being able to participate in spring ball.  

August 12th - First day of football practice for JV and Varsity players.  

August 13th - Mandatory Fall Football Parent meeting - 6pm - CAC Turf room

August 14th - First day of school

August 16th - Blitz night for Cav Card fundraiser - More details to follow later. 

August 17th - Intra-Squad scrimmage grades 9-12.  Team picture day as well.  

August 22nd  - Scrimmage vs Waco Midway (THERE) - 9th: 5pm, JV: 6pm, Varsity: 7:30pm

August 30th - Friday 7:00pm - Lake Travis vs Martin (THERE)
