Chance Grayson is entering his 2nd season at Lake Travis HS. Coach Grayson previously coached at Corsicana High School, where he served as a defensive backs coach for 3 seasons under head coach Hal Wasson (2019-2021).

Prior to Corsicana, Grayson served as a secondary coach for one season at Ferris High School under his older brother & head coach, Brandon Layne (2018).

Before moving to the high school ranks, Coach Grayson coached 2 seasons at his alma-mater, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, under head coach Bo Atterberry (2016-2017).

Grayson earned his Bachelors & Masters degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. During his time at SOSU, Grayson played wide receiver and was a return specialist.

A native of Van Alstyne, TX, Grayson was a five-sport athlete under head coaches Brian Polk and Mikeal Miller.
