Omar Ochoa

Defensive Tackles

Coach Omar Ochoa enters his 14th year in the athletic program here at LTISD. Coach Ochoa is a defensive varsity assistant. He also coaches track & field at Lake Travis High School.

Coach Ochoa is a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Physical Education while playing football for the Cowboys.

Coach Ochoa began his coaching career as an assistant at his alma mater, Lovington High School from 1997-2003, where he helped lead the Wildcats to back-to-back State Championships in 2000 & 2001. Coach Ochoa and his family relocated to Kansas City, Missouri from 2003-2009. While in Kansas City, Coach Ochoa coached football and track at Park Hill South High School.

Coach Ochoa and his wife Dr. Lisa Ochoa has two children, Marisa & Sammy.
